  1. Why did you start this blog?

I grew up around a grocery store and in a family that loves food, so I grew up loving food. I have always been interested in food from new techniques in cooking to what makes the most basic food taste good. One of the biggest reasons that I started this blog is to share what I have learned about food with the world. I also love the impact that food can have. It has always been a bonding factor in my family and has always had a positive impact in the lives of others as well which I think is important to share.

  1. Are you a professional chef or baker?

No, I certainly no professional. I have learned from other people, but I am here to tell my story. I want to share my experiences and stories so that others can learn from my trial and error.

  1. Why should I care about being a foodie?

Even if your goal isn’t to become the ultimate foodie you still have to eat food to survive, so why not make it enjoyable? Being a foodie doesn’t have to mean that you know everything about every ingredient that goes into a recipe, it can simply be you know what makes something good or that you enjoy food. Being a foodie looks different for everyone.

  1. How do I start my journey to become a foodie?

Start with what you know about food and then figure out what you would like to know. If you don’t know what you want to learn figure out what you like to eat and how to cook what you like to eat. I post tips on some of the basics of cooking so perfect those and go from there. It will take trial and error, but you will figure out what works for you.

  1. What should I do if I am a picky eater?

If you or one of your loved ones is a picky eater figure out what the picky eater likes and tailor meals and dishes to those ingredients that they like. For example, if your toddler will only eat blueberries try a blueberry bisque or blueberry muffins.
